Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Smirnoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Smirnoz's choice of entrance music: Russian. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mikhail Smirnoz was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnoz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Power fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smirnoz, pushing him back against the cage.
Smirnoz tries to pull guard but Power won't allow it.
Smirnoz jumps guard and drags Power to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Smirnoz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Power is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Smirnoz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Power's back instead.
Power looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
Smirnoz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Power is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Smirnoz keeps control of the position as Power tries to break free.
Power knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smirnoz on the ground.
Smirnoz punishes Power with strikes from the back mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
