Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hyonjo Gua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyonjo Gua had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gua tries to bum rush Hart with a series of wild strikes but Hart uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gua tries to clinch but Hart moves out of range.
Hart bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hart tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gua is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gua is not content to let Hart control the position.
Gua tries to improve position but can't.

The referee asks Hart politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hart prefers to stall for the moment though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Gua tries to clinch but Hart is having none of it.

and Hart counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gua's guard now.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hart postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hart has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
BOOM! Hart connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Gua can't escape the position.

Hart lands a big shot there that rocks Gua but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hart connects with a nice short shot to Gua's temple.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hart is nestled in close to Gua, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gua is trying to stand up here but Hart is controlling him well.

Hart is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gua has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gua!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hart can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hart working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gua doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hart is tightening it up a little... Gua has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gua reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gua taps out! nice BJJ there by Hart!
