The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ahr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hemmen misses with a straight left.
ahr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hemmen.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hemmen instigates a clinch.
ahr is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
ahr blocks an elbow strike from Hemmen.
Hemmen breaks from the clinch.
ahr showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hemmen.

ahr with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hemmen to score with a decent uppercut.

ahr dives in and grabs Hemmen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hemmen pushes down on ahr's head and hops out.

bryce ahr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
ahr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hemmen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
ahr throws an overhand right that lands on Hemmen's shoulder, as Hemmen tries to avoid the shot.
ahr shoots for a double leg takedown but Hemmen sprawls well. He's pushed ahr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

ahr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hemmen but Hemmen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hemmen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
