Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Einstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Fresco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Einstein kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gold Soundz. Jacques Fresco is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jacques Fresco!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Einstein lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Einstein avoids the head kick by Fresco.
Fresco throws a head kick that misses.
Fresco shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Einstein as he avoids it easily.
Fresco throws a leg kick that misses.
Einstein lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fresco connects with a single shot there.
Einstein throws a shot from downtown. Fresco moves away and avoids it.
Fresco tries a head kick but it misses.
Fresco tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Einstein stuffs the takedown attempt from Fresco. Fresco gets slowly back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Einstein looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Einstein has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fresco throws a punch but it's blocked by Einstein.
Fresco has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Einstein tries a knee to the head but Fresco blocks it.
Einstein lands an elbow that stopped Fresco in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Jacques Fresco has been cut.
Einstein throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Fresco blocks it with crossed arms.
Einstein throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Einstein tries a knee to the head but Fresco blocks it.
Einstein looking to throw knees to the head but Fresco is blocking nicely.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

A frustrated look appears on Fresco's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Fresco has Einstein pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Einstein manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Albert Einstein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacques Fresco.
Einstein keeps control of Fresco as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fresco wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Fresco is trying to break the clinch but Einstein is controlling him.
Fresco goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Fresco trying to control the position but instead, Einstein has worked for underhooks and has pushed Fresco into the cage.
Einstein misses with an elbow over the top.
Fresco takes a shot to the head.
Fresco is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Einstein lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fresco breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Einstein, as that shot connected.
Einstein tries to clinch but Fresco moves out of range.
Fresco throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Einstein sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fresco cracks the inside of Einstein's front leg.
Einstein looks to land a right hand but Fresco moved out of range.
Fresco connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Einstein's hands.
Fresco misses with a series of wild punches.
Einstein dodges the punch combination from Fresco.

Fresco throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Einstein was covering up waiting for the punch and Fresco finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fresco missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Einstein is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fresco defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fresco thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Fresco wants to control from the top but Einstein keeps moving.
Fresco forces his way into half guard.

Fresco has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Einstein defend it? Fresco steps over the head and cranks it - Einstein is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fresco!
