Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Barnham.
Barnham looks to land a right hand but Young moved out of range.
Young drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Barnham tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Young wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Young lands a nice forearm strike.
Barnham on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barnham tries to get out of the position.
Barnham takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Young has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Barnham throws a one two combo.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Barnham, as that shot connected.

Young is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Young shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Young throws a leg kick but Barnham checks it.

Young missing with a left hand there. Barnham was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Barnham goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Barnham lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Barnham bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Young's head backwards.
Young with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Barnham to score with a decent uppercut.
Young drops his hands momentarily and Barnham takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Barnham moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Barnham swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Young.
Barnham throws a series of punches but Young avoids them all with ease.
Young takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Barnham lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
