Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Les Claypool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeffrey Dahmer! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dahmer shoots in but no luck this time. Claypool swings away with a leg kick that misses. Dahmer shoots in and bounces Claypool off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Claypool is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dahmer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Claypool's guard. Claypool wants to improve his position but Dahmer is controlling well.
Dahmer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Claypool slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Claypool has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dahmer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Claypool keeping moving, preventing Dahmer from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Claypool is trying to control the position but Dahmer postures up. Claypool can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dahmer controls the pace. Dahmer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Claypool is trying to keep Dahmer in close.

Claypool throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dahmer escapes and throws Claypool's legs to the side, diving into side control! Claypool is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dahmer trying to control the action but Claypool is working from the bottom. Claypool wants to control but Dahmer postures up. Claypool is looking to regain half guard here but Dahmer keeps moving and retains side control. Claypool is not content to let Dahmer control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Claypool thows a left - swing and a miss! Claypool fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dahmer tries for a takedown but Claypool circles away easily and Claypool counters with a shoot takedown. Dahmer fights it but they end up in guard. Claypool showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Claypool is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Dahmer looking to control.
Dahmer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Claypool gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dahmer keeping moving, preventing Claypool from controlling successfully. Claypool sitting in guard here, content to control. Dahmer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dahmer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dahmer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dahmer doesn't succeed with the takedown and Claypool counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Les Claypool has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey Dahmer. Claypool trying to control from half guard but Dahmer is working away. Claypool content to control rather than advance. Claypool wants to control but Dahmer is keeping him busy. Claypool stalling away here and it's allowed Dahmer to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Les Claypool dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Dahmer takes a shot right to the bread basket. A combination from Dahmer does no damage. Dahmer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Claypool as he jumps to the side. Dahmer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Claypool counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dahmer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round. Claypool passes Dahmer's left leg - he's now in half guard. Claypool with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Dahmer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dahmer blocking the ground and pound attempt from Claypool. Claypool is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dahmer has managed to free his arm - good work. Dahmer regains full guard. Nicely done. Claypool looking to pass the guard. Dahmer is trying to control the position but Claypool postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dahmer keeping moving, preventing Claypool from controlling successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Claypool moves into the clinch. Dahmer gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Claypool regains guard.

Claypool is staying active underneath Dahmer, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Claypool actively working from the bottom here. Dahmer is looking to take a break and control but Claypool is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Claypool ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dahmer moves away. Dahmer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dahmer showed some decent athleticism there. Claypool on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Claypool manages to get to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dahmer tries to free his leg and advance position but Claypool is retaining full guard. Dahmer wants to control from the top but Claypool keeps moving. Claypool has his foot on Dahmer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dahmer works his way back into a safe position though. Claypool bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dahmer's guard. Dahmer keeping moving, preventing Claypool from controlling successfully. Les Claypool overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Claypool is looking to work some ground and pound but Dahmer has wrist control. Dahmer is pulling down on Claypool's head to control his posture. Dahmer looking for a triangle here. Claypool is fighting it but it looks tight! Dahmer pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Claypool is tapping out - this one is all over!
