Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pierre Tremblay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Richado Aberte!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tremblay shoots in for a double leg but Aberte sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Tremblay closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aberte to the mat! Aberte manages to get full guard.
Tremblay tries to free his leg and advance position but Aberte is retaining full guard.
Tremblay stops Aberte from standing up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Tremblay shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Aberte defends it nicely.
Pierre Tremblay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aberte wants to control the pace but Tremblay is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aberte moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Tremblay has worked his arm free - good work by Tremblay!

Tremblay is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Aberte off and has taken his back!
Aberte controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Tremblay has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Aberte has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Aberte is trying to defend against the choke here but Tremblay has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Tremblay Tightens the hold and Aberte taps out furiously! Tremblay displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
