Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oskar Derek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Cee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Derek looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Cee gets to mount! Derek was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Derek is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Derek on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Derek tries to get out of the position.
Derek reaches up to try and control the position but Cee seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Derek rolls and tries to escape and now Cee has his back!
Derek might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cee is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Derek is defending well though. Cee let's go of the attempt for now.

Cee is trying to stick to Derek's back but Derek is turning into Cee. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cee's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Derek.

Cee shoots in for a double leg but Derek sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Cee has closed the distance and engaged Derek in a clinch.

Derek moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Derek pulls Cee in close to his closed guard and prevents Cee from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Derek lands a glancing blow to the side of Cee's head.
Derek throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Derek looks to land a body kick but Cee moved away.
Cee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Derek swivels and escapes.
Derek lands a jab-cross combination.

Cee is rocked!
Derek throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cee is still on wobbly legs! Can Derek finish him?

and Derek counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Cee seems to have recovered his senses.
Derek swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Cee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Derek but Derek pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Oskar Derek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Cee.
Derek goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Derek looks to land a body kick but Cee moved away.
Derek keeps the fight on the outside.
Cee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Derek paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Derek throws a push kick but Cee slaps the foot to one side.
Derek throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cee shoots in and drives through. Derek sprawls well.
Cee takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cee closes the distance looking to clinch
and Derek connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cee avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Oskar Derek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Derek finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Derek throws a right hand that Cee ducks under and follows up with a left that Cee also avoids with ease.

Cee tries to clinch but Derek is having none of it.

Cee is standing up over Derek. Derek looks to escape but Cee dives into side control.
Cee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Derek keeps working.
Derek gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Derek tries to lock up and control but Cee gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Derek is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Cee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Derek is looking to escape.
Derek is desperately trying to improve his position but Cee has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cee lands with some strikes.
Derek wants to hold on but Cee pushes him away.
Derek holds on to Cee as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Cee content just to control the position here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
