The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Werdum fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hernandez sprawls well initially but Werdum persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hernandez tries to roll over but Werdum keeps him under control.
Hernandez looks like he's trying to stand up.
Werdum is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Werdum is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hernandez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Werdum.
Werdum prevents Hernandez from improving his position.

Hernandez is looking for a sweep. Werdum is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hernandez is trying to maintain the position but Werdum is very close to passing his half guard.
Werdum maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hernandez could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Werdum has cracked it and Hernandez is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Werdum!
