Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royston McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crow Ice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McDonald might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nicole - By Ash. Crow Ice has the eye of the tiger tonight.

McDonald tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McDonald looks to score with a jab to the body but Ice is just out of range.
Ice shoots for a double leg takedown but McDonald sprawls well. He's pushed Ice's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ice is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ice looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

McDonald looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ice with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ice is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The referee warns Ice that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

McDonald is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ice can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Ice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McDonald throws a hook but Ice avoids it easily.

McDonald throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ice tries to close the distance and clinch but McDonald swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McDonald feints and as Ice raises his hands in defense, McDonald changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ice working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McDonald doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McDonald manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

McDonald has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

McDonald is pressing down on Ice's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ice is holding on for now.
Well, if McDonald is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Royston McDonald just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Ice closes this distance looking for a takedown but McDonald circles away.

McDonald cracks Ice with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ice takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
McDonald throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ice stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and McDonald counters with a lovely straight right hand!

McDonald throws a looping overhand right but Ice ducks down to avoid it.
Ice takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McDonald shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ice napping and manages to drive through into side control!
McDonald lands a nice forearm strike.
McDonald is chipping away with strikes.
McDonald looks up at the clock and then as Ice takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McDonald smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
