Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mbuku Ashali!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashali looks for a takedown but Putin sprawls well.
Putin stuns Ashali with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ashali throws a sloppy head kick and Putin moves out of range easily.
Ashali takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Mbuku Ashali has been cut.
Putin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ashali sprawling to the canvas! Ashali rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Putin finish him?!
Ashali is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Putin drops Ashali with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Ashali! Putin dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Ras Putin!
