Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dave Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toniboi Ydel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Ydel, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Ydel against the cage but Ydel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.
Ydel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ydel is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jones defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Toniboi Ydel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jones jumps guard and drags Ydel to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Jones is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ydel can't fight it off and eventually Jones manages to take the fight to the floor. Ydel looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

I would just about give that final round to Toniboi Ydel.
Well Ydel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
