Cardoso is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stemm - Face the pain . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
del Mexico swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cardoso.
Cardoso rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but del Mexico moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cardoso has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from del Mexico finds it's way round the side to connect with Cardoso's head.
del Mexico lunges at Cardoso with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cardoso's hand.

Tiger del Mexico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cardoso shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. del Mexico manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Cardoso tries to move into range but del Mexico moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
del Mexico clobbers Cardoso with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
