Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Risto Ryhti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joh Gr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joh Gr is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryhti shoots for a takedown but Gr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gr throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gr misses with a double jab.
Ryhti fails to land the takedown.

Ryhti feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Gr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ryhti is controlling him.

A head kick lands from Gr that sends Ryhti to the canvas. Ryhti tries to scramble back to his feet but Gr brings him back down into side control.

Ryhti sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gr's guard.
Ryhti seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ryhti has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gr's face.
