Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raif Severence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fuego Silveti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silveti has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raif Severence! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fuego Silveti! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silveti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Severence but Severence pushes him off and we're back to square one. Horrible takedown by Silveti or perhaps it was just good defense by Severence which made him look bad. Silveti tries to clinch there but Severence circles away.
Severence gets the takedown into side control. Silveti looks gassed! Silveti is looking for a sweep. Severence scoring with punches and elbows. Severence working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Check out the look on Severence's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Severence decides to take the fight back to the feet. Severence tries to clinch but Silveti moves out of range. Severence shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Severence was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Severence has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Severence putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's one minute gone in the round. Severence working Silveti over with strikes here. Severence with the ground and pound from mount. Severence raining down shots from the mount! Severence breaks from Silveti's wrist control and lands an elbow. Severence prevents Silveti from getting the reversal. Severence controlling from the full mount. Severence is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Silveti to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Silveti shrugs it off. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Severence cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Severence wants to control the pace but Silveti is squirming around nicely. Silveti has left one of his arms exposed and Severence doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Silveti screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Raif Severence!
