Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joey Rigatoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Burgos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burgos has chosen Stronger as his entrance music. Burgos has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The key to victory for Joey Rigatoni has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pedro Burgos!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rigatoni tries to clinch there but Burgos circles away.
Rigatoni closes the distance and clinches.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rigatoni.
Rigatoni has picked Burgos up - he's going for a ride! Rigatoni dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Rigatoni slips a nice elbow through Burgos's hands, connecting with Burgos's forehead.
Rigatoni trying to control the action but Burgos is working from the bottom.
Rigatoni decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Burgos looks gassed!
Rigatoni shoots in but Burgos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Burgos throws a hook but Rigatoni avoids it easily.
Rigatoni shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rigatoni was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rigatoni has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rigatoni is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Rigatoni feints and as Burgos raises his hands in defense, Rigatoni changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Burgos utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Rigatoni in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rigatoni content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Burgos working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rigatoni.
Rigatoni trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Rigatoni slips nicely into half guard.
Burgos avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rigatoni.
Rigatoni is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Burgos is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
