The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myk tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reynaldo swivels and escapes.
Myk comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Myk fails in his attempt to clinch.

Reynaldo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Reynaldo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Myk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Myk lands a couple of elbows.

Myk wants to stand and escape but Reynaldo is having none of it.
Reynaldo pushes down on Myk's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Reynaldo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Myk tries to lock up and control but Reynaldo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Reynaldo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Myk has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Reynaldo jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Myk manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Reynaldo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Myk, who protects the arm well.
Myk tries to improve position but can't.
