The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bree drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bree lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Thompson down.
Bree scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Thompson to see if he's OK.
Thompson gets back to half guard.

Bree is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Thompson sees it coming and defends easily.
Bree is pressing down on Thompson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Thompson is holding on for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Thompson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bree moves into the clinch.
Bree has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Thompson regains guard immediately.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Bree thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Thompson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bree rolls with it to try and escape but Thompson cranks on the arm and Bree is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
