Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marshall's choice of entrance music: Intro by DMX. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bam thows a body shot but no joy.
Bam throws an overhand right that lands on Marshall's shoulder, as Marshall tries to avoid the shot.
Bam fails with an attempt to clinch.
Marshall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Marshall ducks under a wild hook from Bam.
Bam fails with an attempt to clinch.
Marshall throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bam.
Bam is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nice uppercut lands for Bam. That snapped Marshall's head back.
Marshall swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Bam throws a sloppy head kick and Marshall moves out of range easily.
Marshall throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Bam throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Marshall counters with a big head kick but Bam shrugs it off.
A good leg kick by Marshall.
Marshall will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Marshall throws a lazy head kick
and Bam counters by moving into the clinch.
Bam swings wildly with an uppercut but Marshall uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bam is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Marshall is defending well for now.
Still in the clinch, Bam scores with a nice short uppercut.

Marshall is trying to break the clinch but Bam has him pressed against the cage.
Bam misses with an elbow strike.
Marshall blocks the elbow strike.
Marshall manages to break the clinch.
Bam lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Marshall throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bam Bam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bam connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marshall. Marshall circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bam stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Marshall.
Bam closes the distance but Marshall moves to the side
and Marshall counters with a big head kick but Bam shrugs it off.
Bam throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marshall.

Bam throws a leg kick
and Marshall counters with a left to the body.
Marshall moves out of range of the strikes.
Bam misses with a series of wild punches.
A bone on bone clash there as Bam blocks the leg kick.
Bam darts in and clinches Marshall up against the cage.
Bam lands an elbow that stopped Marshall in his tracks for a moment.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bam tries to land knees in the clinch but Marshall avoids the damage to the body.
Bam scores with a nice hook to the head.
Marshall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bam takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bam throws a sloppy head kick and Marshall moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Bam.
Bam jabbing away but nothing is landing.
An inside leg kick lands from Marshall.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Marshall scores with a nice body kick.
Bam ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A good leg kick by Marshall.
Marshall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bam looks to throw the jab but Marshall is out of range.
A low kick from Bam misses
and Marshall cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bam gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Marshall counters with a head kick. That will keep Bam thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Bam is rocked!
Bam switches off momentarily and Marshall cracks him with a monster right hand! Bam topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Marshall dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Marshall!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Doug Marshall!
