Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Magno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Agnem Klotzk! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klotzk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Magno.
The fighters circling - Magno throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Magno misses with a jab, cross combination.
Decent striking displayed by Magno there.
It looks like Agnem Klotzk has been cut. Magno misses the shot to the body. Magno misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Klotzk.
Magno throws a nice looking combination but Klotzk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Magno throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Magno misses with the combination.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Magno and Klotzk goes tumbling to the canvas! Magno follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Klotzk is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Magno is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Klotzk is still in real trouble! Can Magno finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Magno has hold of Klotzk's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Klotzk manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Klotzk seems to have recovered his senses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magno wants to take his opponent's back but Klotzk doesn't allow it. Klotzk is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Magno moves to take his opponent's back. Magno is trying to stick to Klotzk's back but Klotzk is turning into Magno. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Magno's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Klotzk. Magno is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Klotzk rolls with it to try and escape but Magno cranks on the arm and Klotzk is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
