Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Suon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suon has chosen DMX as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder gets a clinch.
Thunder tries for a takedown. No joy.
Thunder gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suon won't allow Thunder to pass to mount.
Thunder is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Thunder prevents Suon from improving his position.
Suon looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Thunder looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Thunder is breathing heavily.
Thunder is thwarting Suon's attempts to control the position.

Suon is trying to get back to full guard.
Thunder is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Suon has managed to free his arm - good work.
Thunder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Thunder shoots in and drives through. Suon sprawls well.
Suon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Suon swinging wilding here.
Suon jabbing away but nothing is landing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Thunder shoots in for a takedown but Suon shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Thunder. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Suon pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Suon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thunder moves away.
Thunder looks for a takedown but Suon sprawls well.
Thunder fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Suon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Thunder is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Suon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Suon's back!
Thunder is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Suon defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Suon manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Thunder is now in side control.
Suon manages to work his way to half guard, despite Thunder's best efforts.
Suon tries to roll over but Thunder keeps him under control.
Thunder is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Thunder is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Suon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thunder.
Suon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Thunder is working away from the top position though.

Thunder trying to advance position but Suon counters by regaining guard.
Suon is looking to sinch up a triangle. Thunder throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Suon's body to avoid the submission. Suon has instead reached around Thunder's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Suon arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jack Suon!
