Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anus Saukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamatudo Fodiati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anus Saukko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fodiati slips a jab and a cross from Saukko.

Saukko looks to land a combination. Fodiati sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Fodiati wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Saukko has him pressed against the cage.

Fodiati wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Saukko uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Saukko is breathing heavily.
Saukko is looking to stand up but Fodiati isn't so interested in that idea.

Fodiati gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Fodiati shoots in looking for a takedown. Saukko tries to sprawl out of it but Fodiati keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saukko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Saukko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fodiati shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Saukko's guard.
Fodiati gets to his feet. Saukko looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Saukko wants to clinch but Fodiati slips to the side
and Fodiati holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Saukko makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Saukko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Fodiati misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Saukko tries to clinch up but Fodiati circles away and keeps his distance.

Saukko throws a series of punches but Fodiati avoids them all with ease.
Fodiati has managed to clinch.
Saukko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Saukko lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fodiati moves into the clinch.
Saukko swings wildly with an uppercut but Fodiati uses good head movement to avoid it.
Still in the clinch, Saukko scores with a nice short uppercut.

Saukko wants to break free but Fodiati has control.

Fodiati breaks from the clinch.
Saukko shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Saukko throws a right and a left that both miss.
A combination from Fodiati does no damage.
Saukko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Saukko closes the distance looking to clinch
and Fodiati counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Saukko's guard now.

Fodiati with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fodiati in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fodiati gets to his feet - Saukko follows without any prompting.

and Fodiati counters by moving into the clinch.

Fodiati lands an elbow that stopped Saukko in his tracks for a moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fodiati content to control rather than advance.
Saukko is staying active underneath Fodiati, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Fodiati counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fodiati.
Saukko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fodiati is controlling him.

Kamatudo Fodiati showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Fodiati moves into the clinch.
Saukko wants to get back to striking at distance but Fodiati won't allow it.
Fodiati tries to pull guard but Saukko holds him up against the cage and eventually Fodiati drops back down to his feet.

A frustrated look appears on Saukko's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fodiati jumps guard and drags Saukko to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Saukko wants to stand but Fodiati is controlling his posture from full guard.

Fodiati has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Saukko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kamatudo Fodiati has got the better of the ground game so far.

Saukko tries to stand but Fodiati is controlling from the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ground and pound from Fodiati seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Fodiati sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Saukko is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
