Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Andrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Comin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrade kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Andrade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Raul Comin! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrade moves out of range of the strikes. Comin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Comin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Comin gets the takedown into side control. Comin slows the pace down. Andrade wants to control but Comin postures up. Andrade sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Comin is figuring out what he wants to do next. Andrade wants to improve his position but Comin is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Comin controlling the pace. Comin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Andrade defending well though. Andrade is trying to maintain the position but Comin is very close to passing his half guard. Comin is trying to control. Andrade wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Comin performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Despite being in the dominant position, Raul Comin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Comin misses with a takedown letting Andrade counter with a right hand. Andrade punishes Comin's body with a nice straight punch. Comin has his takedown stuffed and Andrade counters with a nice uppercut. Comin looks gassed! Comin misses with a takedown and Andrade counters with a straight right hand. Daniel Andrade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raul Comin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andrade shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Comin as he jumps to the side. Comin tries for a takedown but Andrade circles away easily and Andrade decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Comin's guard. Andrade tries to free his leg and advance position but Comin is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andrade controlling from the top position. Andrade is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Comin keeping moving, preventing Andrade from controlling successfully. Comin working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Andrade trying to control but Comin is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Comin is trying to control the position but Andrade postures up. Andrade passes easily into side control. Nice work. Andrade goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Comin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Andrade but great work by Comin. Andrade can't do much from the bottom here. Comin controls the position from side control. Comin stands up and beckons Andrade to his feet. Comin gets the takedown into side control. Comin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Comin working the body and head with strikes. Comin cracks Andrade with a big right hand but Andrade just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Andrade is being controlled here. Andrade tries to improve position but can't. Andrade prevents Comin from moving into mount. A lull in the action here as Comin stalls from top position. Comin trying to control the position but Andrade is working away. Comin scoring with punches and elbows.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Comin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raul Comin dominated that round. That's time! Andrade's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Andrade shoots in and bounces Comin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Comin controls Andrade momentarily but Andrade frees himself. Comin wants to sweep here but Andrade controlling him for the moment. Andrade being controlled here momentarily. Andrade forces his way into half guard. Comin is trying to maintain the position but Andrade is very close to passing his half guard. Comin tries to get to full guard but Andrade has control of the leg. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Comin has one foot on Andrade's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Comin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Andrade is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Comin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Comin's back! Andrade has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Comin trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Comin showing good submission defense here.
Andrade is not going to allow Comin to sit and survive in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andrade has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Comin has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Andrade wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Comin is now in half guard. Comin keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raul Comin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Comin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Comin sitting in guard, not really doing much. Comin won't allow Andrade to sweep him here. Andrade is working hard here to advance position. Comin postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Comin fails with the takedown and Andrade counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Andrade shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Comin's guard. Andrade wants to control from the top but Comin keeps moving. Andrade trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Comin manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Comin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Comin wants to stand but Andrade has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Andrade is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Comin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Comin has escaped and now he's on top! Andrade is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Comin is looking to work some ground and pound but Andrade has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Andrade looking to control.
Raul Comin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Comin looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Comin wants to pass the guard but Andrade is keeping the position. Comin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Andrade keeping moving, preventing Comin from controlling successfully. Andrade looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Comin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
