Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brennan Bova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huck Chasson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chasson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bova but Bova pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bova shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bova was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Chasson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bova looking to ground and pound but Chasson is blocking nicely.
Bova looking to secure an arm triangle but Chasson defends it well.
Bova goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Chasson turns into him and now he's in Bova's guard.
Bova is breathing heavily.
Chasson lands a couple of elbows.
Chasson trying to control but Bova is working from the bottom.

Chasson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bova swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bova has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chasson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bova.
Chasson wants to stand but Bova is controlling his arm.
Chasson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bova keeps working.
Chasson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Chasson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bova has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bova bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Chasson is trying to keep Bova in close.

Chasson controls Bova momentarily but Bova frees himself.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chasson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bova off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chasson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brennan Bova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bova bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Chasson is looking for a sweep.
Chasson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Bova is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Chasson wants to control but Bova is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bova is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Chasson still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Chasson has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bova doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chasson counters with a takedown into side control.

Bova tries to buck Chasson off but Chasson is having none of it.
Bova managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Chasson.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Chasson shoots in looking for a takedown. Bova tries to sprawl out of it but Chasson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Bova manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chasson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chasson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Bova paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

You can see the frustration on Chasson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bova thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Huck Chasson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Chasson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bova's best efforts.
