The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Kassler. No joy for Jones on that attempt.
Kassler throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kassler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Kassler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kassler manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Kassler's guard.

Kassler takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jordan Jones.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
