Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Adler!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sherk really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sherk not doing much here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sherk decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Adler has his takedown stuffed
and Adler takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Vladimir Adler has been cut.
Sherk lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Adler at a distance.
Sherk fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Adler doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sherk counters with a nice body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Adler misses with a takedown attempt
and Sherk counters with a huge left! Adler is in big trouble! He's backing up but Sherk isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Adler from any more damage. A dominating finish by Sherk!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Sherk!
