Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shamar Outing Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vseslav Gorniy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Outing Jr has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Vseslav Gorniy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorniy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Outing Jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Outing Jr's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Outing Jr is looking for a sweep.

Despite being in the dominant position, Vseslav Gorniy just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Gorniy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gorniy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Outing Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Outing Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gorniy pulls his head out easily.
Still in half guard, Gorniy seems content to control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gorniy stops Outing Jr from standing up.
Outing Jr wants to control the position but Gorniy says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Vseslav Gorniy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Gorniy decides to stand and escape the position.
Gorniy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Outing Jr throws out the jab.
Shamar Outing Jr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Vseslav Gorniy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Gorniy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
