Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Meacham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ollie Priest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Meacham looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Priest throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Meacham was covering up waiting for the punch and Priest finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Priest tries to free his leg and advance position but Meacham is retaining full guard.

Meacham had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Priest defends it easily.
Priest trying to control the position from guard on top but Meacham is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Meacham is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Meacham working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Priest doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Priest manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Priest really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Meacham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Priest decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Priest wants to stand but Meacham has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
