Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Bair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Grossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bair comes to the ring accompanied by Not Afraid-Eminem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Bair avoids the elbow strike from Grossman, against the ropes.
Bair decides to pull guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bair is on top in guard.
Bair decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bair drives through with a takedown into guard. Bair won't allow Grossman to get back to his feet. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bair trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Grossman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Grossman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bair gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Grossman keeping moving, preventing Bair from controlling successfully. Bair has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bair could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grossman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bair feints and as Grossman raises his hands in defense, Bair changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Grossman is trying to control the position but Bair postures up. Bair wants to control from the top but Grossman keeps moving. Grossman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bair. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bair trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Grossman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bair can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bair drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bair jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bair slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Grossman wants to stand and escape but Bair is having none of it. Grossman looks gassed!
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bair shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Grossman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bair drops back looking for a leg! Grossman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Grossman manages to kick Bair off! Bair jumps back into Grossman's guard. Bair gets to his feet. Grossman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grossman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Teddy Grossman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bair throws a series of punches but Grossman avoids them all with ease. Grossman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Grossman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Grossman. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bair lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Grossman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Grossman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Grossman throws a head kick but Bair moves out of range.
Bair darts in and clinches Grossman up against the ropes. Bair lands a takedown into guard.
Bair passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bair avoids the strikes from the bottom by Grossman. Bair lands a nice forearm strike. Grossman wants to get back to his feet but Bair drags him back down. Bair cracks Grossman with a big right hand but Grossman just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bair wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Grossman, who protects the arm well. Grossman tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Bair landing strikes, looking to finish! Poor strikes thrown by Bair there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Bair is working for a guillotine from mount but Grossman frees his head quite easily.

David Bair dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Grossman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bair. Grossman tries a head kick but it misses.
Bair scores with a jab to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Bair. Grossman does a little dance to reset his feet. Bair misses with a jab, cross combination.
Grossman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Grossman misses with a head kick.
Grossman avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Grossman tries a head kick but it misses.
Bair shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bair was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bair lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's one minute gone in the round. Grossman is squirming around, avoiding Bair's attempts to control the action. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Grossman tries to hold on but Bair pushes him away. Bair throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Bair unloading with bombs! Bair is in the full mount, landing strikes. Bair trying to control but Grossman is having none of it. Grossman takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Grossman tries to hold on but Bair postures up. Bair sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bair looking for a guillotine from mount but Grossman is having none of it. Grossman is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Bair misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Bair trying to control but Grossman is having none of it. Bair breaks from Grossman's wrist control and lands an elbow. Grossman wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bair.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Grossman is looking to get to half guard. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bair cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bair is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Grossman has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Grossman! Bair working for a triangle but Grossman defends it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bair is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bair has a closed guard, preventing Grossman from standing up. Grossman preventing the sweep. Bair is looking for a triangle but Grossman pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bair pulls Grossman in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bair decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bair is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Grossman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bair. It looks like Bair is going to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bair throwing shots but Grossman is blocking nicely.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bair blocks a head kick by Grossman.

Bair gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Bair trying to control but Grossman is working from the bottom. Bair stands and throws Grossman's legs to the side, diving into side control. Grossman gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bair is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Grossman! Bair fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Bair content just to control the position here. Bair is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Grossman is surviving well by controlling Bair's body position as best he can.

Grossman throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Teddy Grossman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Grossman flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Bair can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Grossman is looking to escape. Grossman is looking to improve his position but Bair isn't that keen on the idea. Grossman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! David Bair showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bair has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
