Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Egorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anton Egorov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Tucker! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anton Egorov! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Egorov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tucker throws a sloppy head kick and Egorov moves out of range easily. A nice combination there by Egorov.
Tucker tries to close the distance and clinch but Egorov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Egorov on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Anton Egorov has been cut. Good shot there by Egorov. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Egorov avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Egorov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tucker checks it well. Tucker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Egorov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tucker throws a head kick that misses. Egorov connects with a nice looking jab.
Tucker takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Egorov cracks a nice hook into Tucker's ribs. Egorov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The fighters circling - Tucker throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tucker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tucker is looking to clinch but Egorov is avoiding it.
Tucker throws a leg kick and Egorov counters with a thumping low kick. Tucker is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tucker throws a leg kick but Egorov sees it coming and checks it nicely. Egorov knocks Tucker to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Tom Tucker has been cut. Egorov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Egorov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tucker gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Tucker is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Egorov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tucker really wants to buck Egorov off and get back to his feet. Egorov sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Egorov looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Egorov wants to take Tucker's back here but Tucker is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tucker is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Tucker prevents Egorov from taking his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Egorov trying to control but Tucker is having none of it. Tucker wants to get back to his feet.
Egorov is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Tucker is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Tucker flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Egorov anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Tucker and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Egorov slips an arm under Tucker chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Egorov has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Egorov is squeezing on Tucker like an anaconda would it's prey. Tucker fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Anton Egorov! Anton Egorov is the new middleweight champion!
