Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rolf Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jame Lacaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jame Lacaro will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jame Lacaro! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Lacaro shows good takedown defense. Lacaro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lacaro buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lacaro swings for the body but Jackson moves out of range.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Nice takedown defense from Lacaro. No joy for Jackson on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rolf Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Lacaro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jackson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That was a close second round but I would say that Rolf Jackson will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jackson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lacaro circles away. Jackson shoots in and drives through. Lacaro sprawls well. Jackson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Lacaro throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lacaro is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Lacaro circles away and we're back to standing. Jame Lacaro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jackson slips under a jab from Lacaro.
And that's the end of the fight! Rolf Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
