Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timofei Evtuhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and idk idk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evtuhov feints and as idk raises his hands in defense, Evtuhov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
idk looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Evtuhov wants to pass the guard but idk is keeping the position.
Evtuhov controlling from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Evtuhov is looking to stand up but idk won't let him.

Evtuhov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Evtuhov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
idk wants to control but Evtuhov is having none of it.

Evtuhov jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… idk is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by idk and Evtuhov has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Evtuhov tries to score with some ground and pound. idk controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
idk is looking for a sweep.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Evtuhov throws a low kick but it's checked well by idk.

idk tries to bench press Evtuhov off him but Evtuhov keeps the position.

Evtuhov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says idk as he avoids it easily.

Evtuhov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
idk takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
idk is trying to control Evtuhov's posture but Evtuhov avoids it.
idk manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
idk is staying active underneath Evtuhov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Evtuhov stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Evtuhov is looking to clinch but idk is avoiding it.

idk fails in his attempt to clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Evtuhov looks to land a body kick but idk moved away.
A head kick misses from idk.
Evtuhov tries to bum rush idk with a series of wild strikes but idk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
idk stuffs the takedown.
idk throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

idk manages to get to full guard.

idk isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Evtuhov stacks idk on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Evtuhov!

idk tries to bench press Evtuhov off him but Evtuhov keeps the position.
idk manages to work his way to half guard, despite Evtuhov's best efforts.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
idk manages to get to full guard.
Evtuhov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Evtuhov is looking to advance position but idk has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

idk swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Evtuhov is now in idk's guard. A big mistake from idk there, giving up the dominant position!
idk wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Evtuhov is now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Evtuhov tries to clinch up.

idk gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Evtuhov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
idk has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Evtuhov has passed into side control.
Evtuhov is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt idk will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Evtuhov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
idk takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Evtuhov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
idk is looking to reverse the position.
Evtuhov slows the pace down.
Evtuhov wants to lay and pray for a moment but idk keeps working.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Evtuhov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but idk is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
idk is looking for a sweep.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Evtuhov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Evtuhov landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

idk is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
idk moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
idk wants to sweep but no luck.

idk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Evtuhov's guard.
idk wants to control from the top but Evtuhov keeps moving.
Timofei Evtuhov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
