Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clifford Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leandro Spider! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris misses with a few strikes there.
Harris doesn't manage to clinch there - Spider circles away.
Spider misses with a takedown attempt - Harris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. No luck with that takedown attempt from Spider. Harris misses with the combination.
Spider fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Clifford Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leandro Spider. Harris tries to bum rush Spider with a series of wild strikes but Spider uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Spider tries for a takedown but Harris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Clifford Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spider looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Harris is looking to stand up but Spider isn't so interested in that idea.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Harris manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Harris fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Spider looks to clinch and Harris counters with a three punch combo that has Spider backing up. Spider nods at Harris to acknowledge the strikes. Harris fails in his attempt to clinch. Spider misses with a takedown and Harris counters with a left and a right that stings Spider. Spider has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Harris tries to break the clinch but Spider is controlling the position. Spider tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Harris lands an elbow inside. Harris lands a right hand that snaps the head of Spider backwards. Harris lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Spider misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Harris.
Harris manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Harris looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Spider tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Harris swivels and escapes. Harris has closed the distance and engaged Spider in a clinch.
Harris lands a nice elbow. Spider tries to circle away but Harris has him pinned against the cage. Spider is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Harris breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Spider lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Harris is breathing heavily. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Spider!
Harris throws a combination that misses and Spider counters by clinching up. Spider wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Harris has him pressed against the cage. Spider fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Spider tries to break the clinch but Harris is controlling the position. Harris lands with a light punch inside. Harris breaks the clinch.
Harris forces Spider back against the cage and clinches. Harris is trying to force a seperation but Spider has the dominant position. Harris scores with a shoulder strike. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Harris creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Harris lands an elbow that stopped Spider in his tracks for a moment. Harris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Spider fails with the takedown and Harris moves into the clinch. Spider is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Harris breaks from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spider shoots in looking for a takedown. Harris tries to sprawl out of it but Spider keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harris manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Spider fails with a takedown attempt. Harris throws a right and a left that Spider avoids nicely. Spider showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Harris.
Harris throws a combination that misses and Harris takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris clinches. Harris tries to break the clinch but Spider is controlling the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Harris lands a nice uppercut. Spider looking to slow down the pace here. Harris pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spider moves in looking to clinch but Harris pushes him off. Spider shoots in for a double leg but Harris sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Clifford Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leandro Spider. Harris throws a right and a left that Spider avoids nicely. Spider with a lazy takedown attempt and Harris counters by moving into the clinch. Harris breaks the clinch.

No joy there for Harris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Harris fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Spider, pushing him back against the cage. Harris's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Harris falls off balance throwing a combination
and Spider counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Spider shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Spider is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Harris!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris is trying to stand. Spider looking to control but Harris is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Spider is landing with some decent strikes but Harris is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spider content just to control the position here. Spider jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Harris manages to avoid the submission attempt. Harris is trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Spider stands up. Harris tries to clinch up. Harris scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Harris avoids the head kick by Spider.
Harris lands with a nice combination. Spider backs away looking to recover. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Leandro Spider will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Spider wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Harris has him pressed against the cage. Spider takes an elbow to the forehead. Harris wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Spider ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Spider no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Harris looking to pass the guard. Harris has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Harris stands up from guard. Let's bang! Spider shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harris as he jumps to the side. Spider tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Harris swivels and escapes. Harris closes the distance and clinches.

Leandro Spider is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Harris is looking to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Clifford Harris. I think Spider has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
