Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dave McCreadie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan fails to land the takedown.
Jordan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McCreadie.
A combination from McCreadie does no damage.
Jordan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Kevin Jordan has been cut.
Jordan ducks under a wild hook from McCreadie.
Jordan gets the takedown into side control.
McCreadie tries to improve position but can't.
McCreadie misses with an elbow from the bottom.
McCreadie is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
McCreadie avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jordan.
Jordan tries to pass to full mount but McCreadie defends it.
McCreadie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jordan is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McCreadie has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Jordan. Oh but McCreadie has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Jordan goes limp - he's gone! McCreadie jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
