Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Han Dardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Han Dardy! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palmer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dardy! Palmer jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dardy manages to avoid the submission attempt. Palmer goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dardy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Palmer but great work by Dardy. Dardy decides to stand back up. Dardy throws a nice looking combination but Palmer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dardy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Palmer ducks under a wild hook from Dardy. Dardy throws an overhand right that lands on Palmer's shoulder, as Palmer tries to avoid the shot. A jab lands there for Dardy.
It looks like Roy Palmer has been cut. No joy there for Dardy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Palmer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dardy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dardy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
