Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prescott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Prescott fails to land the takedown. Forte tries to clinch but Prescott is having none of it. Prescott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Forte looks like he's trying to stand up.
Prescott is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Forte tries to roll over but Prescott keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prescott working the head and body with strikes. Prescott works his way into full mount! Prescott swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Forte is now in Prescott's guard. A big mistake from Prescott there, giving up the dominant position! Forte thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Forte stands up from Prescott's guard - Forte perhaps looking for a knockout. Forte rushes Prescott and presses him up against the cage. Prescott is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Forte pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Prescott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Prescott tries for a takedown. No joy.

Prescott has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Forte clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Forte has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Prescott is striking well from the back but Forte escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being. Prescott is breathing heavily. Forte trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prescott stalling away here and it's allowed Forte to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Forte keeping moving, preventing Prescott from controlling successfully. Forte not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Forte is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Forte is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Prescott is controlling him.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Prescott shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prescott seems to be working for a kimura but Forte defends the submission attempt. Forte wants to get back to his feet. Prescott is nestled in close to Forte, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Prescott trying to mount his opponent but Forte defends it. Forte regains full guard. Nicely done. Prescott stopping the sweep attempt from Forte. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Patrick Prescott dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Forte looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Prescott shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Forte manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Prescott postures up in Forte's guard and throws a big left but Forte blocks it. Prescott wants to pass the guard but Forte is keeping the position. Forte keeping moving, preventing Prescott from controlling successfully. Forte wants to sweep here but Prescott controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prescott passes easily into side control. Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Forte is not content to let Prescott control the position. Forte is looking to regain half guard here but Prescott keeps moving and retains side control. You can see the frustration on Forte's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Forte slaps away a takedown attempt from Prescott, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Forte wants to clinch up but Prescott keeps it at a distance. Forte doesn't manage to clinch there - Prescott circles away.
Prescott fails with a takedown attempt. Prescott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Forte is looking to escape. The fighters are battling for position here. Forte manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prescott trying to control but Forte is working from the bottom. Forte looking to control.
Forte looking to hit a scissor sweep but Prescott is one step ahead there. Forte manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Prescott manages to get himself to full guard.
Forte wants to get up but he can't break Prescott's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Forte prevents Prescott from getting back to his feet. Prescott keeping full guard, as Forte tries to pass. Forte wanted to stand there but Prescott had control of the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Prescott wants to get back to his feet but Forte is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Patrick Prescott dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Prescott shoots in for a takedown but Forte shows good takedown defense. Forte moves into the clinch successfully.

The referee is keeping an eye on Forte - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Prescott is trying to drag Forte to the mat but Forte just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Prescott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Forte stops a takedown attempt from Prescott.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forte landing knees to the body.
Forte has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Prescott avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Forte is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Prescott pulls him back up using the underhooks. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Prescott is trying to drag Forte to the mat but Forte just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A body shot lands from Forte.
Forte has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Prescott regains guard immediately.
That's one minute gone in the round. Forte stops Prescott from standing up. Prescott looking to hit a scissor sweep but Forte is one step ahead there. Forte postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Forte wanted to stand there but Prescott had control of the position. Forte slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Forte looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prescott can't do much from the bottom here. Forte working the head with strikes.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Forte wants to control but Prescott is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Forte comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Prescott has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
