Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeroen Heijdens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calzaghe moves into the clinch successfully.
Calzaghe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Heijdens is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Heijdens tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Heijdens has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

and Heijdens counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jeroen Heijdens.
Well Heijdens has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
