Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David McCredie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Odafin Tutuola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, David McCredie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Odafin Tutuola!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McCredie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tutuola, pushing him back against the cage.
McCredie wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Tutuola tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McCredie just stands there and leans against the cage.
Tutuola wants to break the clinch but can't.
McCredie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tutuola smiles and moves away.
McCredie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tutuola pinned against the cage. Tutuola gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McCredie lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tutuola circles away quickly and effectively.
McCredie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tutuola.
McCredie fails with the takedown

and Tutuola counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tutuola.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David McCredie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tutuola is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McCredie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Tutuola throwing strikes but missing.
Tutuola wants to pass the guard but McCredie is keeping the position.
McCredie tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Tutuola stands up and waves to McCredie to follow him.
McCredie wants to clinch.
Tutuola circles away from the clinch attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McCredie closes the distance but Tutuola moves to the side

and Tutuola counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Tutuola has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McCredie is proving hard to escape from.

Tutuola stands up from McCredie's guard - Tutuola perhaps looking for a knockout.
Tutuola throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McCredie.
McCredie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Tutuola counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
McCredie is breathing heavily.
Tutuola lands a couple of elbows.
Tutuola looking to pass the guard.

McCredie uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Tutuola shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McCredie's guard.
Tutuola controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Tutuola must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Let's hope that Tutuola has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Tutuola tries to free his leg and advance position but McCredie is retaining full guard.
Tutuola is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
I looks like Tutuola might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Odafin Tutuola dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Excellent takedown into side control there by Tutuola.
McCredie seems a little lost for a moment, as Tutuola dominates the positioning.
Odafin Tutuola has got the better of the ground game so far.
McCredie is trying to buck Tutuola off.
McCredie tries to improve position but can't.

Tutuola is trying to get an arm triangle but McCredie is defending well.
Tutuola connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused McCredie some visible discomfort.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tutuola is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt McCredie will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Tutuola working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Tutuola has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Tutuola tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
McCredie taking shots to the head.
McCredie tries to lock up and control but Tutuola gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Tutuola takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tutuola pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Despite being in the dominant position, Odafin Tutuola just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McCredie slips a jab and a cross from Tutuola.

McCredie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tutuola controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tutuola slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Tutuola passes to full mount! That's big trouble for McCredie!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Odafin Tutuola showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!



Tutuola shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tutuola showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tutuola is trying to control. McCredie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

McCredie has hold of Tutuola's hands but Tutuola slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
McCredie works his way to full guard. Good work.

Tutuola stands up and waves to McCredie to follow him.
Tutuola scores with a one two! McCredie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Tutuola tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tutuola clinches up against the cage.

Tutuola turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tutuola manages to end up in side control.
McCredie is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
A lull in the action here.
McCredie is looking for a sweep.

Tutuola is chipping away with strikes.
Tutuola controls the position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Odafin Tutuola just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tutuola throws a head kick that misses.
Tutuola throws a sloppy head kick and McCredie moves out of range easily.

Tutuola darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

McCredie looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Tutuola pushes past his half guard into mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McCredie wants to control but Tutuola is having none of it.
Tutuola is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. McCredie can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
McCredie swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
McCredie is in a horrible position here. Tutuola smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Odafin Tutuola comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tutuola has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
