Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Truelove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Raines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raines comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Step Up" Drowning Pool kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tim Raines has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raines swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Raines will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Raines throws out a leg kick but Truelove moves out of range and Raines only half commits.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raines can do anything to dispel that myth.

Truelove is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Truelove gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Truelove gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Truelove apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Tim Raines showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Raines fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Truelove on the side of the head.
Truelove shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Raines pinned against the cage. Raines gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Raines stalks Truelove and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Truelove's face. Truelove staggers backwards, shaken.

Raines feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Truelove's calf.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Truelove takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tim Raines is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Raines.
Raines throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Raines circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Truelove drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Raines follows Truelove to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
