Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Starship (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starship's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, i made it. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick Starship! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Diaz! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Starship looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Diaz stuffs the takedown attempt from Starship. Starship gets slowly back to his feet. Diaz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Diaz misses with a takedown attempt and Starship decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Diaz's guard. Diaz is working an open guard so Starship takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Diaz is defended easily by Starship. That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nice sprawl there from Starship as Diaz shoots in. Starship slaps away a takedown attempt from Diaz, before circling back to the center of the mat. Diaz fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Patrick Starship will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Starship throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Diaz shoots in for a takedown but Starship shows good takedown defense. Starship fights it but they end up in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diaz thows a big elbow that misses.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Diaz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Starship swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyler Diaz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Diaz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
