Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chavez Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samuel Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Chavez, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Chavez against the ropes but Chavez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chavez sprawls well. Chavez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Chavez Chavez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel Silva.
Chavez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.

Silva tries to pull guard but Chavez won't allow it.
