And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronald Murvis!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carwin moves into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Murvis's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Murvis wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Murvis tries to pull guard but Carwin won't allow it.
Murvis is trying to break free.
Carwin keeps control of Murvis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Murvis wants to break the clinch but can't.
Carwin has Murvis pressed against the cage, preventing Murvis from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Murvis wants to break the clinch but can't.
A frustrated look appears on Murvis's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Murvis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Murvis throws a right and a left that Carwin avoids nicely.
Carwin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Murvis.

Carwin forces Murvis back against the cage and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice elbow from Carwin.


It looks like Ronald Murvis has been cut.
Carwin scores with a knee to the head.
Murvis tries to break the clinch but Carwin is controlling the position.
Murvis can't break the clinch.
Murvis is trying to force a seperation but Carwin has the dominant position.
Murvis wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Murvis is trying to break the clinch but Carwin has him pressed against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carwin lands an elbow that stopped Murvis in his tracks for a moment.
Carwin keeps control of Murvis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Murvis's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Murvis tries to circle away but Carwin has him pinned against the cage.
Carwin has Murvis pressed against the cage, preventing Murvis from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Murvis is trying to break the clinch but Carwin is controlling him.
Carwin comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


That has opened up Ronald Murvis's cut even more.
Carwin lands a nice elbow.


The cut above Ronald Murvis's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Murvis takes an elbow to the temple.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ronald Murvis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
