The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva moves into the clinch.
Silva comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Kefentse drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Kefentse is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kefentse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
