Carter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lil Wayne . Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dewayne Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Sander!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sander is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sander looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Carter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Carter throwing shots but Sander is blocking nicely.
Sander is trying to control but Carter passes into side control!

Carter has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Carter misses with a series of wild punches.
Carter scores with a three punch combo!

Sander shoots and misses
and Carter counters with a nice uppercut.
Carter connects with a looping right hand.
Carter misses with a few strikes there.

Carter drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sander avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Carter.
Sander struggling a bit here.

Carter decides to stand back up. Carter steps back and let's Sander get back to his feet.

Sander on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Carter misses with the combination.
Carter throws a one two combo.
No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sander slips a jab and a cross from Carter.
Carter lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Sander showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Carter.

Carter throws a combination. Sander tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Sander misses with a takedown
and Carter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Some wild striking there from Carter.
Carter looks to land a combination. Sander sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Nice shot lands for Carter.
Carter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sander on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Carter scores with a sloppy right hand. Sander should have avoided that one.
A right-left combo lands from Carter.

Sander avoids a punch combination nicely.
Carter throws a right and a left that Sander avoids nicely.
Carter moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Sander slips a jab and a cross from Carter.
Carter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sander tries for a takedown but Carter circles away easily
and Carter counters with a series of strikes. Sander will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dewayne Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Sander.
Sander is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Carter cracks Sander with a good jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Carter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sander.
Dewayne Carter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Donk. Carter catches Sander right on the button with a cross.

Sander tries to kick Carter off but Carter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Carter passes the guard and advances to mount!

Sander is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Carter looking to isolate an arm here. Sander doesn't see it coming and as Carter extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Carter!
