Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jack chute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Lucas looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Lucas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, jack chute! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! chute scores with a hook to the body. Lucas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Nice takedown defense from Lucas. No joy for chute on that attempt. chute thuds a left hand into Lucas's body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from chute. chute throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lucas throws a sloppy head kick and chute moves out of range easily. Lucas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. chute is trying to defend but Lucas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. chute slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Lucas is breathing heavily. Lucas trying to control but chute is working from the bottom. chute pushes Lucas off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. chute closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. chute wants to control but Lucas is keeping him busy. chute is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Lucas defending against the ground and pound. chute is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lucas will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Lucas wants to control but chute postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lucas dodges the ground and pound from chute. chute scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lucas to see if he's OK. Lucas trying to remain calm as chute controls from the top position. I looks like chute might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. chute trying to control the action but Lucas is working from the bottom. chute decides to take the fight back to the feet. chute closes the distance and pushes Lucas back into the cage. chute jumps into guard, dragging Lucas to the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. chute is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. chute effectively controlling the action here. chute breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lucas stuffs the takedown. Steve Lucas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jack chute. chute shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. chute not doing much here.
chute is nestled in close to Lucas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lucas is staying active underneath chute, who seems content to just control the action from this position. chute takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Lucas trying to control but chute postures up.

chute shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lucas's guard. Lucas is working an open guard so chute takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Lucas takes a kick to the side of the head. chute wants to clinch. Lucas closes the distance and lands a one-two. chute shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. chute showed some decent athleticism there. Lucas is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. chute controlling the action here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. chute sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lucas defending well though. chute lands strikes from half guard. Lucas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lucas is staying active underneath chute, who seems content to just control the action from this position. chute decides to stand and escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lucas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and chute decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lucas's guard. Lucas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. chute is aware though and is defending well. Lucas wants to stand and escape but chute is having none of it. Lucas can't keep his opponent in guard - chute advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. jack chute has got the better of the ground game so far. Lucas landing small, sideways elbows. Lucas is defending against the submission attempts here by chute.
Lucas wants to improve his position but chute is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. chute not landing any meaningful shots this time. chute looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. chute prevents Lucas from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lucas wants to control but chute is keeping busy.
Ground and pound from chute. Ground and pound from chute. Lucas looks like he's trying to stand up.
chute wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lucas keeps working. chute has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. chute shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
jack chute showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

No, chute has managed to free his arm - good work. chute kicks off Lucas and gets to his feet. chute throws a sloppy head kick and Lucas moves out of range easily. chute tries to clinch but Lucas is having none of it. chute clinches with his opponent.
chute jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lucas walks away with a smile on his face. chute gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lucas throws a sloppy head kick so chute counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. chute stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lucas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lucas wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. chute missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. chute postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. chute advances position into side control! chute is working to tighten is grip on Lucas's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lucas has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but chute is really squeezing tight and eventually Lucas passes out! chute breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
