Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glen Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bam Margertoa!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman throws a right hand that Margertoa ducks under and follows up with a left that Margertoa also avoids with ease.
Margertoa has a takedown stuffed.
Coleman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Margertoa scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Coleman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Margertoa thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Coleman's head.

Margertoa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Coleman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Margertoa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Margertoa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Margertoa throws a strike but Coleman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Coleman wants to pass the guard but Margertoa is keeping the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Coleman throws a head kick that misses.
Coleman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Coleman lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Margertoa closes the distance and clinches up with Coleman, looking for a takedown. Margertoa pushes Coleman against the cage but Coleman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Coleman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Coleman digs a good hook to Margertoa's body.
Margertoa takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Margertoa shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Margertoa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Coleman lands with an uppercut that bounces Margertoa off the cage and back into rage.
Coleman misses with a two punch combination.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Coleman has had enough of the clinch but Margertoa keeps him there for the moment.

Margertoa pulls Coleman into guard.

Coleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Margertoa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Coleman passes into half guard.
Coleman wants to take a breather but Margertoa is having none of it.
Margertoa wants to get back to full guard but Coleman has passed into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coleman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Margertoa is looking to escape.

Coleman looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Margertoa tries to hold on but Coleman postures up.
Coleman prevents Margertoa from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glen Coleman dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Margertoa dodges the punch combination from Coleman.
Margertoa looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Coleman scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Margertoa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Coleman!
Margertoa avoids the attempt from Coleman to control.
Coleman is trying desperately to improve position.
Coleman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Margertoa is breathing heavily.

Coleman is working to get back to half guard.
Coleman wants to hold on but Margertoa pushes him away.
Margertoa controlling the pace for now.
Coleman manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Coleman looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Coleman wants to control but Margertoa is keeping busy.
Margertoa wants to take a breather but Coleman is having none of it.
Coleman is trying to get back to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Coleman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Margertoa is working away from the top position though.
Margertoa trying to advance position but Coleman counters by regaining guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Coleman lands a jab to Margertoa's midsection.
Margertoa tries to close the distance and clinch but Coleman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Coleman misses with the combination.
Coleman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Coleman looks to land a combination. Margertoa sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Margertoa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Margertoa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Coleman tries to hold on but Margertoa postures up.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Margertoa! Coleman is out cold! This one is all over!
