The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamiatin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Babynyn pinned against the cage. Babynyn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Babynyn looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Babynyn closes the distance and clinches.
Zamiatin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Babynyn walks away with a smile on his face. Zamiatin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Babynyn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Zamiatin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Babynyn!
Zamiatin with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Zamiatin goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Babynyn is on top in guard.
Zamiatin wants to sweep here but Babynyn controlling him for the moment.

Michail Babynyn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zamiatin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Babynyn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Babynyn tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Zamiatin cranks the arm and Babynyn screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Babynyn, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
