Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Carcer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osmo Soininvaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carcer comes to the cage accompanied by "Caravans To Ur" by Melechesh. Osmo Soininvaara will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soininvaara will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Carcer throws a nice looking combination but Soininvaara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Soininvaara looks to score with a jab to the body but Carcer is just out of range.

Carcer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

The fighters circling - Soininvaara throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Osmo Soininvaara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carcer throws a front kick that sends Soininvaara stumbling back into the cage.

and Carcer counters with a nice low kick that buckles Soininvaara's knee momentarily.

Carcer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Soininvaara throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Carcer counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Soininvaara fails to land with a series of punches.
Carcer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Carcer moves away from the strike by Soininvaara.

Donk. Carcer catches Soininvaara right on the button with a cross.
Soininvaara connects with a right hand. Carcer shakes it off.
Soininvaara fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Soininvaara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Carcer counters with an inside leg kick.

Soininvaara scores with a sloppy right hand. Carcer should have avoided that one.
Soininvaara throws a hook but Carcer avoids it easily.

Soininvaara comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Carcer steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Soininvaara. That one must have hurt.
Carcer is breathing heavily.
Carcer tries to move into range but Soininvaara moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Jonathan Carcer has been cut.
Soininvaara feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Carcer sprawling to the canvas! Carcer rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Soininvaara finish him?!
Carcer is rocked!
Soininvaara circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Carcer tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Soininvaara wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Osmo Soininvaara!
