Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Riku Ogawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bajemjem The Werewolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Riku Ogawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bajemjem The Werewolf!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Werewolf drops his hands momentarily and Ogawa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The fight stays on the outside here - The Werewolf looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ogawa shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Ogawa is trying to work for a kimura but The Werewolf is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ogawa working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Ogawa is nestled in close to The Werewolf, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The Werewolf is trying to control but can't.
Ogawa is keen to just control but The Werewolf is a slippery customer.

Ogawa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so The Werewolf is just riding it out for now. Ogawa eventually gives up the hold.

The Werewolf really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ogawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ogawa is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. The Werewolf knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ogawa is trying to get an arm triangle but The Werewolf is defending well.
The Werewolf tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ogawa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ogawa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, The Werewolf has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ogawa misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

The Werewolf tries to escape but Ogawa is in control.

Ogawa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The Werewolf wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
The Werewolf prevents Ogawa from moving into mount.
The Werewolf is not content to let Ogawa control the position.
The Werewolf wants to control but Ogawa postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ogawa is chipping away with strikes.

Ogawa is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. The Werewolf knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ogawa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The Werewolf tries to improve position but can't.
You can see the frustration on The Werewolf's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The Werewolf is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Ogawa take his back! Uh oh - Ogawa has got a rear naked choke here! The Werewolf is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!
