Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay ar Ginebra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jay ar Ginebra!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ginebra throws a head kick that misses.
Ginebra throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily.
Ginebra tries to clinch up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ginebra is defended easily by Brown.
Ginebra lands with a nice combination. Brown backs away looking to recover.
Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ginebra was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Ginebra is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brown is controlling him.
Ginebra utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Brown advances to half guard.
Ginebra wants to get back to his feet.

Brown is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Brown lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ginebra on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Brown lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Brown throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Brown landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Brown working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Brown takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Brown slips a nice elbow through Ginebra's hands, connecting with Ginebra's forehead.
Ginebra has hold of Brown's hands but Brown slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Brown frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Brown scoring with strikes but Ginebra is staying in there.
Brown pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Brown wants to control the pace but Ginebra is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
BOOM! Brown connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brown cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ginebra is rocked!
Brown lands a big shot there that rocks Ginebra but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Ginebra is still in real trouble! Can Brown finish him?

Brown lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Brown connects with a bit shot that sees Ginebra covering up! More strikes from Brown and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Brown is our winner by TKO!
